Topic: Signed weight identification help please

I recently bought this weight

with black and white background and a mauve lampwork flower with a cane as centre with this signature on the base:

Any ideas who signed it?

Don't know whose 'sig' it is, but I'd swear it was a varition of Caithness 'Fleur'.

Perhaps it's a 'second'.  Can we see a pic of the whole of the base, please?

Looks the same, centre cane is 6 plus one? Dimensions on mine just over 2.5 inches wide and the same in height.

The base is smooth and polished, scratches commensurate with age  , what looks like an indentation in the centre is flat and not a fire polished pointel.

Fleur was also produced in Violet. The signature looks to be amateurish and probably not original!

I tried to post last night to say that I found a picture of Fleur in the same colours and it is one and the same....
But why and who would sign it Plop
I wondered about it being a dud signature to "up the price" but no mention was made of it in the sale, or at least of it being a "known" signature.
What I was thinking was that it could have been a Caithness worker that signed it as a gift...sort of like a frigger?

As you all have correctly said,it is a fleur weight.The base is a puzzle though,a first quality would have a code number on the base.A second from the original launch would of had "C11G" sandblasted on the base.We relaunched a small amount of Fleur weights a few years back but seconds of these would of had no polishing on the base which would leave a very matt finish.None of the options would have any signatures on them,so anyones guess as where that came from .

  You where actually my big hope on this one!  So it is obviously not a signature you recognize?
The "C11G", was that always acid etched or could this be a "beginners" bad attempt? I understand a dremel isnt the easiest tool to use.
Any possibility that a staff member did it for a gift and wrote their own name on it?
(And BTW I know what it means, but what do the letters C11G stand for)
