Large green stepped vase id help please
« on: May 17, 2007, 10:39:24 AM »
I've got this very large stepped vase it'd 27.5 cms tall and the glass is 4mm thick so quite heavy. Bottom as a fair amount of base wear at the edges. I'd like to know where it came from and the age if possible. Thanks.

Hi Pat, when i saw this i thought of Normann Copenhagen a modern designer, he does those modern swing vases and kitchen ware's.
Maybe Riihimaki ? what is the rim like?

Flat and ground with a very slight chamfer on both inside and outside edge.

Normann (of Copenhagen) is a company, rather than a designer. They've been on the go for a while.  ;D

Can't see anything similar to this in their current catalogue.
