Green acid etched vase ID help, please
« on: June 08, 2007, 07:54:12 PM »
This vase is 15" tall.  The clear glass design is slightly in relief, as if it was protected while the vase was acid etched to a satin finish.  What is this technique called?  I've seen other vases with straight sided rather than round top rims attributed to Moser.  Is this Moser?  Thanks for looking.

After some research, I've found that Webb made plain sating glass in cameo relief by acid etching.  I can't find an example of a piece, but I wonder if this may be one?
