What is the best Murano piece from your collection!?!?

  :P    :P    :P To both Cathy's and Ray's decanters!!! I've never seen anything like these - if I had I'd have bought them.
I have very little in the way of Murano. Just my pink dragon facon-de-venise bonbon dish (cracked badly) an ashtray in the same style as Max's vase and a set of facon-de-venise (finger?) bowls. I'll post a picture of the bowls later, but here's the bonbon dish.

Does facon-de-venise count as Murano?

TTFN, Sue.

Max:
Javier?   :?   Rays decanter stopper is the shape I'm familiar with for these Poli-esque decanters - is Cathy's decanter stopper unusual?  At first I thought hers might have been ground down, but it looks perfect and untouched.   Or does the shorter stopper denote a different identity?  I'd love to know!   :D

Sue:  Love your dishy-dragon - I've seen him before on here and think he's very delicious!   :D  :D

CathyG:
Thanks for all the kind words, It's great to see everyone's favorite pieces.

Max...if you have the book Italian Glass Century 20 look on page 118. A similar decanter with the same stopper as mine is featured there. It's because of that book I knew what the decanter was. I don't have much of a collection, but here is a couple of pictures of what I do have. Of course the striped vase is unidentified for now but I strongly feel it's Italian

CathyG:
Geez.....I'm sorry I seem to always do this (getting old I guess) the  sticker says Venetian Art Glass

Here's the photo of my 2 favorite decanters....

The large White and Orange one has gold flecks throughout the entire body and stopper and measures 25 1/2" tall  :D
But even though the Blue one is smaller, I've decided its my favorite.
I collect the color and its just an excellent shape.

The taller one I am not sure about, but the Blue one is pictured in the Fratelli Toso book, so its well documented.

Javier
