I've had this immaculate boxed set of gorgeous little place settings for years.  I thought they said 'Murano' on the box, but they don't.  Now I've got them out, the colours look Czech to me.  They're all a shade under 3".

The box is dated '1 Apr 1963', so they're almost as old as me!   ;D

I was going to put them on ebay, but don't think I'll get much for them...and they're just so gorgeous I think I'll have to keep them.

The wires are all covered in brown thread and there's a little loop to stick a place card under.  The bases of the little pots have a circular depression in them - not from a rod, but moulded in.

Anyone have any ideas about the country of origin?  :)

Umm...you're right Frank, they could've come from just about anywhere really.  Crazy little things, aren't they?  :D  I'll let you know if they need a new home at some point.  :)
