Lesley — If you do post information on Whistler, please would you be so kind as to add it to the existing topic or start a new topic, rather than post it here.   So that it's all in one place.   I have in mind our overworked and underpaid moderators, bless them!    Any ideas on my latest query, which I have posted on the existing Whistler topic here?

I look forward to seeing you at Cambridge.   We are on stand 60.   Look for the Clanger (if I've not sold it).

Lesley, the Clangers and especially the soup dragon, were fundamental to an English childhood.  ;D

They seem very cute indeed and it would be nice if children of today could carry such memories through their lives. Pity about copyright, I would have fun creating this little world on some crystal for all the Clanger twitchers out there :D

Lesley — You were right, except that it's a unique glass Clanger, inspired by the children's characters, created by Iestyn Davies of Blowzone about five years ago.   And it's sufficiently different not to have to worry about copyright.   It's one of several spectacular examples of his work from this period that I will be offering at Cambridge.
