Wierd single flower glass vase unknown origin

I found this at a local trodelmarket, i like it but have no idea who made it, it has been suggested it has a Danish feel to it....has anyone got any ideas?  Kev 8)

What is the green in the base? Reflection or inside, regular, distorted or what?
