* CRACKLE GLASS
« on: November 12, 2007, 05:21:53 AM »
I have this Crackle Glass Vase.  It has a metal (Bronze ?) stand.  It does come apart.  I know nothing of the maker, and have not found any marks....but still looking.  I find it quite striking.

Any one have any idea as to age/certain maker/value....any information?

Thanking you in advance.

I also have another smaller vase with crackle glass, and am enclosing a pic.

I have been told (?) that these are *misfired* when made.  You can not feel any of the cracks on the inner, or outer surface...it is all smooth.  The cracks are truly inside.

Any comments/corrections about the age/maker/style/ and history of both of these, and/or knowledge?

Thanking you in advance...
