Fazzoletto Vase
« on: November 06, 2007, 01:45:38 AM »
i'm so happy to see a thread for non-italian fazzoletto vases :) i have two that i've been trying to figure out for some time and any help would be greatly appreciated. i've tried several times to upload a photo of each but keep going over the file limit. i'll try just adding small ones here and a links to several pictures of each.
pink and white fazzoletto http://www.glasscache.com/GC_ProdGallery.asp?pid=1638&rid=1
yellow and green fazzoletto http://www.glasscache.com/GC_ProdGallery.asp?pid=1638&rid=1

thanks,

bidda

Anne,
these pieces are not for sale. i was hoping to get some help with identifying them. is it not okay to post links to pictures that include my store's url? do all photos have to be uploaded to the glass gallery to stay in an id board?

i re-read board policy but didn't see anything about this. please advise as i don't want to violate any rules.

thanks,

bidda

The benefit of posting pics on Glass Gallery or the board itself, is that they then remain indefinitely for future reference. When the pictures get lost the thread could get deleted - losing the knowledge forever.

Hi Bidda, normally Mods check the links and if they go to an online shop the topics are moved into here. (Forum descriptions says "To be fair to all members, posts offering items for sale in other forums will be moved here even if the post includes an ID request.") As they aren't for sale it can be moved into Glass for you.

Re photos, we really like pics being added to posts as attachments or into GlassGallery as they then stay available for future reference. When images are hosted elsewhere we tend to lose them over time (especially on the free image hosting sites) and then Mods have to spend time asking for copies to be added back and the images are sometimes lost forever.  Hope this makes sense. :)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

thanks Anne, and yes, it makes perfect sense. i do try to attach most images but i kept getting bounced for size on these ones. it's always sad to look at an old post describing some great piece that has a missing image.

after a fit of confusion i finally got images edited to size and uploaded.  :spls2: i'd be very interested in any ideas that anyone has on them as i'm fairly stuck.
