Cased Opaque Vase, Empoli or Scandinavian?

Just been sorting through my collection and have come across a number of pieces I'd forgotten about; the first is this mould blown vase. It guess it dates from the 70s. It has a white opaque inner layer, cased in a brown, coffee colour glass. It's been blown into a four part mould and has a rose pattern running around the body. The underside has a ground pontil mark.

It measures approx 21 cm (8 1/4 inches) tall.

Any information about maker would be much appreciated.

Thanks Tiger, I think you're right, having had a look at a few other pieces the vase definitely seems more Italian than Scandi.
