Yes a great idea.(especially for the Charity,very apt!)  Just yesterday I passed a jeweller's shop and in the window was a necklace made from re-cycled TV screens. A mere £65, but I suppose with everyone changing to the LCD/plasma new TV's, there must be millions of out-of-fashion analogue televisions out there.  Glad someone is doing something with them rather than land fill!   Emmi

£65 quid I could get you tons of it if you want this company are next door to me http://www.nulifeglass.com/index.htmand they have developed a way of getting the lead out and reusing it. And the by product is lots and lots of that greenish glass.
