Lidded Punchbowl Set ? Crystal ?Any Help appreciated.
« on: December 09, 2007, 11:47:03 AM »
I recently bought this punchbowl set. Im unsure if its pressed glass or crystal with a lower lead content. It has the nice ring to it when tapped but not as much as an extremely high lead content crystal.
To be honest I hadnt seen a lidded punch bowl before.

Its approx 30cm high lidded and the bowl is 19cm on its own. The cups have the matching flower on them without the stem and leaves.
The ladle is 12" long with an applied handle, a smooth flattened area on the base, with a spout. The end of the handle is also polished.

There is no slot around the lid to sit the spoon either. Its quite heavy, and would be really hard to move once filled.

I dont think its anything super special, just wondering about makers and age.

TIA Trudy
