Well, I don't know about the coppery bit but the rest of it looks like Phoenician Glass, Malta to me.  I've got a similar vase - I'll go hunt it out and take a photo.

I started with Carnival glass, then other C20 irridescent, then Whitefriars ducks, then Dartington FT Daisies etc, then Whitefriars Tricorns...when will it end?

Hi Sue,
it very much reminds me of Phoenician Glass, Malta , Leonard Mulligan, formerly
with Mdina, certainly the shape and the
irridescent glass, the strange copper coating however, i havent seen before.

click on collections, and look at bottom right picture
also click on tradition.

Hi Andy - but you went one better and have found their website!

Here are my pics anyway.  I'll add them to glassgallery later as well.

I have , in my bathroom, (because its a bit turquoisy and fishy)
the best and nicest piece of Phoenician glass that i have ever seen, I will take a photo
tomorrow, i have been looking for a similar piece for several years but never seen one again!
I have had a couple of xmas drinks tonight, but i may have something to eat, and put it in a new
thread, because i think its quite unusual!
See you later,
Andy
