I'd sooner range it under Chrbska/ Czech than under Canada or Murano. In fact I handled a piece very much like it in an antique store in Lima yesterday and it had a label.  Had a hilarious time trying to get the shopkeeper to pronounce Chrbska. (still recovering)

These bowls always cause problems, but hopefully in the next few weeks, a colleague will be sending me 180 pages of Chribska production catalogues, averaging 20 items per side in full colour, to upload to www.sklounion.com, showing a huge range of products, which will be available to GMB members to view. The job of id-ing these may then be a little easier.
Regards,
Marcus

That'd be great Marcus!  It'll certainly test people's mettle (how much they want to identify their item) by going through 180 pages!   >:D ;) ;D

A Chribska catalogue? Great! I'm sure that will solve all kinds of attribution problems, especially in Canada where we have so much Chalet. It's not until I come across the occasional Chribska piece with a label that I again realize how often I overlook the attribution. Was it Chribska who made the tall sommerso vases with the pulled and sometimes heat treated surfaces?

Thanks, again, Marcus.

Those are great links! I live about 2 hrs away from David, so I see a lot of Chalet glass too, though I'm in the US. Almost all of this kind of glass is listed as Murano or Chalet on ebay, so it's great to have references.

You are most welcome, this is my piece, please note that it has no handles!! ::) that is an optical illusion, also look at the colour to the lower part of the vase, i dont think i have seen this colour connected to Murano.
Alltogether now........"But i could be wrong!"  ;D

I agree, it doesn't look like Murano.
