Definitely a similar lamp, maybe the same one, not sure what it says, i presume,
the text is Swedish, id still lean towards Scandi maker, i will see if its relisted and
think about it next time .

Hi Andy, sorry, I didn't think.
 Here's the gist of it.. The owner has just bought it and the shopkeeper told him it was of Italian origin. The owner says that he reckons it is recent ( fitting etc) and wonders if anyone knows who made it. There is a possibility that there is a signature by the fitting for the bulb but he doesn't want to dismantle the lamp until the bulb needs changing. Stand is in copper.

The reply to the query says.. Nice lamp.. looks like an egg holding it's ears!
I can keep an eye on it if you like, and post any news on it.
