Unusual glass lamp possibly Scandinavian, any ideas??
« on: January 06, 2008, 03:00:12 PM »
I quite liked the look of this lamp, which finished unsold on ebay recently,
I thought about bidding, but a bit hard up over Christmas :(

Anyone any ideas on maker? I wondered Holmegaard?? or Flygsfors??

Cheers

The big clear rim part does look very Lutken-esque.... but it's not a design I've ever seen.

It might be Holmegaard, or it might not be. Hard to gauge colours and quality of finish from the photos, really.

Hi Andy and Nic,
Could these two lamps be related?
http://www.antikviteter.net/antikprat/
go to glas,
then konstglas,
then häftig bordslampa
The owner was told that it is italian.

Well-spotted, Aine.

An Italian attribution would make more sense than a Danish one, I think.
