Topic: Please identify my "Prunt Bowl" for me if possible.

Choose what this bowl turns out to be, I just love it.  I will not describe the colour because I am sure to get it wrong, however, it’s similar to the image and could be any of the Whitefriar greens.  The bowl is just over 21 centimetres across the brim and it stands 10 centimetres high.  Around the middle there are 6 “prunts” and the base has a clean pontil.  The bowl was sold on ebay as Whitefriars however, there doesn’t seem to be a bowl with 6 “prunts” in any of the Whitefriar literature I have surfed through, or maybe I am not seeing the obvious.  The one in the Whitefriar catalogues looks to have 4 Prunts. 

It’s an absolutely beautiful bowl with just 2 teeny bubbles on the base and one in a “prunt” that I can see.  There is the usual wear on the base.  It would seem to have been made with plenty of TLC, but not too regimental.

I have a matching vase and tried in vain to identify it for more than 8 years. The spiral prunts should be quite unique and make it easy to identify - but alas.

Thank you Ivo for your comment.  Fingers and toes crossed someone will come up with an answer.  One can only hope.

   If thats Whitefriars i am a turnip, sorry couldnt resist. I have seen a jug or a vase very similar in one of the glass books i will try to find it . Something is telling me Danish or thereabouts.

Well at least "Turnip" catches your eye, which is why I chose it.  I pondered on "Brussel Sprout" then realised that not many folk like them and may avoid opening my posts

This doesn't really help as the id is an attribution but there is a vase here

with prunts that appear to be similar - attributed to Stevens and Williams.  Interesting if only to add another shape with similar prunts maybe.

snail prunts here, the vase is id'd as Steuben but I can't see any reference for that.
