Just popped into charity shop and saw these stunning items covered in wax and dust, i could
see they had a nice opalescence to them and have Made in France on the base, cleaned up,
they are really pretty  ;D Moulded.
Some one must have some ideas on these, the writing of 'France' reminds me of 1930s
Sabino or Lalique in style. (I dont think quality is up to Lalique though :( )

Thanks,
Andy :D

Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.

Thanks Roy,
its not my field, and id never heard of Portieux , but googling the web, I think you may be right
Theres a lot of it about, blue milk glass, mine seems to be a bit more opalescent than most ive
just found, and is clear towards the edges, but it seems very very close, i shall do
some more searching ;)

Thanks
Andy
