EAPG Bowl on spatula feet.

(1/3) > >>

Tony H:
Hi All

Here is an EAPG bowl with three spatula feet in Colorado/ Lacy Medallion pattern which is US Glass Co.

Question what is the pattern on the bowl, it is 8" in diameter and 5" high  I have had no luck as yet.

Is it US Glass Co?.

Glen:
Tony, I can't solve this mystery for you, but I can add to the "bigger picture".

Back in 1996 (illustrated and reported in our "NetworK" #11) we showed a photo of the same item in Carnival Glass (marigold). It had been purchased by an Illinois couple at a Seeck Auction in St. Louis, 1995. We identified the pattern on the feet as "Colorado" but we could not identify the pattern on the body of the bowl. It was given the name "Split Diamond" in the Seeck Auction listing, but as this name is already known in Carnival (and refers to another item/pattern) it possibly isn't the best choice.

I'm not an expert in EAPG so hopefully someone else may know an earlier pattern name. However, nothing further has been reported within Carnival Glass circles since our first publication of the information back in 1996.

Tony and Glen, Ok I am not going crazy. I have poured over my book on US Glass by Heacock which is full of original catalog pages and came up blank. I am now on a quest and won't give up. If I find anything I will post it here. I also have a couple of people I need to ask. So hang in there Tony,  Terry

Good Luck and fingers crossed.......
