Italian or Scandinavian cased vases?
« on: March 11, 2008, 06:45:09 PM »
I've seen alot of these on ebay said to be of Scandinavian origin(mainly Holmegaard), but I have also seen a few said to be Italian?
I'm guessing that alot of these are actually Italian?

Any help IDing these pieces would be very much appreciated.

Cheers  :)

Some may be Elme, some may be Empoli - but most will be Chinese; it depends a bit on the colour of the inner layer. If this is weak like watered down milk, you're looking at Chinese.
