Ruby 3 sided bowl

Hi
    Found this 3 sided ruby bowl today, encased bubbles it weight's in at 592g in old money thats 1lb 4.7/8oz where it rolls over it is 2ins, the width is 5.1/4ins could be an ashtray though, please add your comments or idea's of whom and what age please.

The pontil is polished and there is some wear around it showing it has some age, thanks

Hi 
   Have posted this on whitefriars and got a 100% ID as Pattern 9562 designed by either Geoff Baxter/william Wilson, 1963 so found two piece's in as many days, looks like i have found a shallow well for the time being chap said he might have some more at home, did'nt say what,
