Della:

Hi Pamela,
Tanja is correct, I believe. Please see this page: http://www.vaarinvarasto.com/puristelasi.php Image 7167, unnamed bowl, thought to be Riihimaen Lasi.

Della (still ever learning  ;) )

pamela:
Tanja and Della, thank you - we have to negotiate the barokki again i'm afraid.
coffeepot 259 attracted my eyes - what is it, please?

TWave:
I'm sorry but I don't know the name of designer for the bowl.
All I know that it isn't Erkkitapio Siiroinen's Barokki for Riihimäen Lasi in the 70's.
Barokki was made at least in green, clear, yellow, blue and purple

px:
oops. I do not want to sound impolite, but personally I am very, very sorry to find wrong attributions, especially if they should have been noted and known to be wrong long time ago.

Generally, I cannot describe how much I appreciate people who spend so much time and effort in distributing their knowledge and pictures of their beautiful collections but on the other hand they should always think of their responsibility too. The pictures and information attached go around the world and there are people who tend to believe what they see.

Like mentioned above, this is not Barokki of Siiroinen. http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/tafelaufsaetze/04875.html Do you think it is the pointer's duty to find what it is before the attribution is corrected, or?

PS. spreading the "word" may end up in more and more. Don't know which one was first tho' http://www.glaskilian.de/Grosse-Fussschale-BAROKKI-Entw.517+B6YmFja1BJRD01MTcmcHJvZHVjdElEPTQ4MDEmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9NTE3JmRldGFpbD0_.0.html
