Red headed bird/vaseline wings, molded base
« on: April 13, 2008, 08:55:33 PM »
The base on this piece is molded, then it is attached to the underside of the bird with a wafer of vaseline glass.  Total height to tallest spot (vaseline wing closest to camera) is 3 3/4"  (9.4 cm).  length of bird is 5" (13 cm).
I had not seen molded pieces before.  it is a three-corner 'branch'. There is a very very thin layer of cranberry on the head and beak.   Any ideas as to the maker?
