For anyone not familiar with Gaydon and its neighbouring villages, it is worthwhile staying overnight. There are a number of excellent pub restaurants in the vicinity, some of which have rooms, and plenty of very comfortable B & B's. Not all dog friendly, though, but Archie has his favourites!
