Higgins glass in the UK
chuggy:
Have just bought my first couple of pieces of early Higgins glass and think it's great, but wondered if any one knows of any collections within the UK that might be available for a view to quench my thirst for more information. I've got both the books and on a bit of a mission at present so any UK based help appreciated.

Paul, I don't know of any UK based info and you've probably seen the Higgins glass on this page, but just in case you haven't, it may be of interest: http://www.jax-deco.com/higgins.html there's also a website about Higgins glass http://www.higginsglass.com/

Thanks Anne
Hadn't seen the first site so off on a spending spree later this week for a couple of bits from it. I love the 60's and 70's feel of so much of it.

Hello,
Chuggy, I have been trying to get you some pictures of my Higgins, well here they are, at long last. As you will be able to tell, I have alot of learning to do yet, when it involves digital pictures. You can see the pieces good, the pics are just waaaay too large, but I'm working on it. :?
Anyhow, please know that I would be more than happy to help you out with your "spending spree"!! My Higgins could be your Higgins. If not, then enjoy the eye candy, and just consider me a sharing sort of person. :D
This is the "clocks" ashtray, it is 10"x7", the smaller of the two made in this theme.

This is a cigaret box, it measures 7 1/2"x4", I have not found this in any research I have done, so I have no clue as to the theme name. I Wish I knew, if you run across it, hollar back at me, ok?

Love the box. Sorry Chuggy you can't have my Higgins. Although I should post a pic of what has to be a really strange pc. Terry
