Higgins glass in the UK

lhazeldahl:
Hello, Terry,
I know that I, for one, would love to see your Higgins......and I agree, the cigaret box is a really attractive design.  I bought it at a yard sale for two dollars.

Ok Linda as promised here it is. The base is not signed but definately Higgins. The "Angel" is some kind of heavy metal while the candle part is brass. http://tinypic.com/9ull4m.jpg  Even the higgins collectors I know have a tendancy to sniff when they see this one. The rest of my Higgins is scattered throughout and I really should gather it together. Terry

Hello,
Terry, very nice!!!  The color combo is awsome,  I've never seen those colors looking classy, like they do.  Thanks for sharing.

Is higgins easy to find in the UK?

Terry...great candle holder! I don't think I ever seen that one before.

Linda...Love the cigarette box! It's my husbands favorite pattern. He would love that piece. We have a different pattern cigarette box, but it's one with the glass bottom.

Our collection of higgins with the exception of the St. Louis dish.

The cigarrette box is a WOW and the pattern is sunset, there is an identical pattern in the blue colourway called midnight, and I've a tray in that on it's way to me (please huury up Mr Postman).
See I've been reading my books which so far have cost almost as much as the bits I've bought.
Very hard to find in the UK, and would love to buy some more quality pieces like the box.

Cathy
I love the steamship piece, not seen anything like that in my very limited searches.
