2 large pieces need IDing

Brought these today for £5 at a small auction.  Red one reminds me of a Whitefriars piece, colour is right for ruby and pontil is right, just never seen the shape before and far from convinced it is.  Other piece is I assume pressed because of the ridges underneath it.  Lovely quality piece, classic smoked glass in colour.  I can put more pics up if needed!

Would love to confirm makers, dates etc.  Thanks all!

That red one is lovely.  The glass must be pretty thin toward the middle, eh?  It's got nice shading.
