Could someone post a close-up of their buffalo? From what I see, it doesn't look like an engraving. That doesn't mean it isn't, but engravings have typical shapes because of the wheels used. I'd like to see more detail.
There's heaps (do you say "heaps" in the UK? That's an Aussie expression) of cut/engraved glass listed on ebay as etched. I don't really understand it.

Sandblasting, right? That's a great photo, shows the graininess to it, so it's distinguishable from etching. I have lots of photos of etching and engraving, different types of enameling - should I put a few directly in the gallery? Are they linked to a thread or anything?
My dad was in the RAOB, I have all his medals and things here.
Even after looking at the site, I didn't get a very good idea of their aims, or what held them together. Is it possible to sum it up for us?
