http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-10083http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-10082Could these have been made by H.C. Fry Glass & Co. U.S.A. who made opalescent kitchen glass and who patented a heat-resistant glass called "Pearl Oven Glass" ?
My initial thoughts were that these could be American, and Fry is the only company I've come across so far that made plain, functional opalescent glass, although I haven't spotted these particular tumblers(?) on any Fry websites when searching?
The shorter one is 4" high x approx. 3½" diam. opening (so quite a handful if its a drinking glass), and the taller one is 6" high x 2¾" diam. opening. Both have safety rims. When turned upside down, they are quite dome shaped.
Any ideas would be appreciated - or alternative suggestions to search further afield.
