9 3/4 in. tall. At first I thought it was VSL but it's not signed. I'm thinking it's of Czech origin?   anybody?

Desna perhaps?  The technique is very similar to the "Four Layers" vase from Dobronin glassworks which Desna are still producing.

Hi Ivo,

I've seen the Desna "four layers" vase but this vase has one more layer (5 layer vase?  ;))

I'm pretty sure they just do crystal & solid colors? this has a cranberry flash on it..

thanx..

It said VSL as soon as i looked at it!
earlier 20thc were not signed, just labelled, is there much wear to the base?

Hey Andy,

That's what I thought initially but I have a nagging feeling it's not VSL.

the "layers" on VSL vases are typically more narrow and have many more facet cuts going around the circumference of the vase...

back to the drawing board... :(
