What do these numbers mean? Help please!
« on: June 08, 2008, 06:03:45 AM »
Hi, I have some nice cocktail glasses with numbers engraved on the top of the foot rather than underneath. The numbers are 60532/320ml D-12286. Then this weekend I found three highball glasses with similar looking numbers on the side of the glass this time in marker pen. The highball glasses are all slightly different and the numbers seem to refer to shape, pattern and volume. Are all these glasses prototypes? Thanks, Nic

It is possible, if you post pictures we might get an ID that would help to confirm such.

Hi, I hope this photo is clear enough. They are quite heavy and feel like good quality glasses. Thanks for any help, Nic.

Are the 'lozenges' silver?

Hi Frank, The lozenge shapes are frosted and silvery but the glass has a golden glow which alters the colour slightly in the picture. Thanks, Nic.

I would guess that it is a test/trial piece. Maybe someone will recognise the shape.
