I don't know...the near right corner looks like it sticks out a ways toward the camera.  I reckon the whole thing's a float.

This is the float from the glass factory during the wine harvest festival in Bordeaux, so you may safely assume that the structure is on the float - in front of the balustrade of the park where the cortège is held.
