Had this for ages it 7 inches tall heavy glass a few bubbles in the glass cut off pontil still a bit rough, but 4 nice ropes going up the sides, any ideas?

The ropes are usually described as rigaree bands. Basically a tooled ribbed band, can also be cut. It could be a reproduction from between the wars when they were fashionable.
