Ariston is a brand name of the Italian Indesit group for electric parts, heating, refrigeration etc.

The base please, the underside view suggests 1950s/60s as does the type of metal used but the full view does not show enough.

95% Italian pewter - no relation to walsh wash at all.  Lampshade most likely made in Empoli.
