Faceted crystal handle magnifying glass
« on: August 21, 2008, 02:48:17 PM »
I needed a new Magnifying glass, and just found this in an Antiques shop,
couldnt resist it, just what a glass collector needs ;D
Its 10 1/2 Inches long, glass handle is 5 1/2" , curved horn shape, multi facet cut.
Metal has just shined up nicely chrome or Silver plate, No makers marks,
quite thick lens, green tinge.

I havent seen one before, i wondered if anyone else had any ideas.
Not sure of age, not ancient, maybe mid 20thC?

Cheers
Andy

ps it will get plenty of use :D

The style looks a bit like Waterford.
