Glass Decanter

Can anyone tell me if they recognise an identification mark on the decanter recently purchased.
It looks like a squared off C with the top of the C being longer than the bottom.  There is also a 4 figure no below.

We really need good pictures of both the decanter and the mark, also the base of the piece.

It looks like there are other numbers and possible letters on the base as well. Can you make out any mor of them? I think I'm seeing 604S but there maybe more as the pic is a little too small and unsharp to tell.

Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
