Topic: Scandi look vase with Japan label

Thought I'd share this interesting (to me ) vase.  Rightly or wrongly, I've always associated this type as being of Scandinavian origin and know several companies made them.  However, I came across this one today with its original label "HAND BLOWN / Lefton's Japan / GLASS WORKS".

I've included a pic. of the base as well.

Does anyone know if this could be the same company shown here?  http://collectibles.about.com/od/companyprofiles/p/leftoncompany.htm  China products were made in occupied Japan, but I can't find anything about glass products...?
