Antique publications online...
« on: November 11, 2008, 12:48:40 AM »
I happened across Digital Library for the Decorative Arts and Material Culture whilst looking for something related to the 1851 exhibition. Not only does the site have the complete 400 page catalogues for the exhibition, digitised for browsing, it also has a plethora of issues of 'The Craftsman', the magazine that, I believe, really pushed the boat out for the American Arts & Crafts movement. In this publication there are several glass-related articles, including one on Lalique from 1902:

René Lalique: his rank among contemporary artists

I'm sure there's other stuff - I've not had chance to look properly.
