I've looked at this from all angles and sharpened up the image, I'm afraid I can't make it out.
If you would like to supply more pictures of the signature from slightly different angles and maybe a bit clearer, it may help.
Getting good clear pictures of a signature can be a pain I know, it drives me mad sometimes.

Dust the base with some talc so it sits in the recess of the signature and then re-photograph, it should be a little clearer and easier to see.

Christine I thought it said that, but I spent best part of 3 hours going through every bl**dy name that is in print for Mdina that I could find,
Not 1 name was anywhere near,

Maybe Mark will stop by, hopefully he will know,

I think I've found the "Mdina" sig, that is the same as this handwriting but that just made it even more intriguing.

I do wonder if its a helper rather than the artist.

Perhaps it's not a signature as such, the Mdina bit looks fairly standard, but rather a personal inscription to a studio visitor.

I see "Crown Paints."  :-\
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.
