Jindrich: Thanks for all the recent posts which have been really helpful. You refer a few times to catalogues. Are they generally available?

Good morning (afternoon - who knows where all you are  :)),
I have got several Chribska catalogues from Czechoslovakian period and also after revolutionary Czech republic. It was hard to find it and now I am trying to sort and digitalise it. Than will be available for friends in some way.

I am afraid that a lot of research resources had been lost in bankrupcy chaos in Czech glass industry now. Safe are only materials from Sklo Union due to effort developed by Marcus Newhall. I am trying to do my best to find and safe whatever is possible. I suppose that from Prague I have a bit better chances to do this that somebody else from abroad.

But anyway, it might be possible that some Crystalex, Bohemia Crystal, Bohemia Glass, etc. advertising sheets could be found elsewhere in this nice world, if you find it please let me know.

Jindrich

Jindra, you might be interested to know that Marcus is a frequent (and much appreciated) contributor to this board. Do you know each other?

Carolyn

In fact we have spent together with Marcus last 3 weeks in Czech republic trying safe all research resources from collapsing Czech glass industry.
