Brandy Snifter With V S Mark?, Please help on the mark

A crystal blown bowl Snifter with what looks to be V over S ecthed mark, Stem has nice oval bead and is 5 3/4" {14,5cm} Thanks so much

Mark is sandblasted so probably dates to after 1960/70s.

Not sure if this helps you really.  It is common to etch the name of a brewer or brand of spirit on glasses and there is a brand of cognac in France called SV.......

Hi. Yes both replys do help. I too belive these are after 1960's. Did think they had a French look to them , so the france cognac May be the answer Thanks so much for your time and words of wisdom.

It looks like a modernised form of the crowned S used by Skruf, and like a similar mark used by Spiegelau.
