Topic: Huge Pressed Glass Bottle

Hi

This is a fabulous bottle/decanter - measures 26" including stopper.  The close up colour is the best - very bright.  Reminds me of the Blenko types, but is different enough for me to think it's not!  Does anyone have any ideas?

It's probably Italian.  There's a lot of these big decanters out there, I think they date from about the 70s.  Could have been filled with bath salts or something at one time.

Fab thank you!  I've had other 'big bottles' before, but this one is such a gorgeous colour and a really unusual shape (the round body is flattened to an oval shape - sorry should have mentioned that!) that I wondered if it may be 'more'

These are often referred to as "Genii" bottles - made in Empoli circa 1970s.
