Tiffin Satin Glass "Vaseline" Bowl, or What?
« on: March 18, 2009, 01:11:24 AM »
Hoping the Depression Glass experts out there can help me.  This lovely satin vaseline glass (console?) bowl, which measures 10.5 inches in diameter, reminds me of Tiffin Glass, but I am having no success in confirming this on the net.  Is this, in fact, Tiffin?  If not, who, how old and is it a particularly scarce/desirable piece?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Charles.

Hi,
That is a lovely bowl, great color!  I checked my Tiffin books (I have 9) and they did make a 10 1/2 inch rolled edge center bowl but the bases are twice as big as this one.  The Tiffin collector's site is down right now but they would be the ones to ask to be sure about Tiffin.
