I have just bought a great 1960's? ashtray in black opaque glass marked Bradex England Reg des #913994
Cant find any info on BRADEX GLASS just keeps showing me collectable porcelain
Please help me find more info on this glass

Bradex appears to be the Bradford Exchange (The Bradford Group U.K) http://www.bradford.co.uk/shop_content.php/coID/11/content/About-us  who are merchants selling a whole range of items including glass.  May be someone will know how to search the reg.no. to find the actual maker.

Yes all I could find was that bradford exchange, and I have written to them but they started in 1973 and this piece seems older than that so perhaps someone else used to use the name Badex before they started:-)

The registered design number narrows it to between 1960 and 1970, not very narrow I know. Can we see a picture please.

The Bradford exchange just answered my query, only a couple of hours, very quick! They have no knowlege of this item so , again, someone must have been using the bradex mark before them:-)
