« on: April 08, 2009, 06:51:21 AM »
Hello,
I have a question about an antique horn shaped perfume bottle I own. Cut glass and ormolu.
Length: 10  inches (25,4 cm)
When was it made? Where was it made?
Thank you in advance
Best wishes

i would guess early 20th C. - c. 1900 - 1920 although it could vary a few years on either side. it is probably continental european although it would be somewhat unusual for it to be french but they had a fondness for gilding which the english and irish never developed. it is very nicely done and attractive.
