Ruth and all here: Labradorit is too soft (Mohs-Haerte) for being Granit and I bet your fish is 'Feldspat = Labradorit' which can be easily carved like that.

I'm googled out and reckon that labradorite it is. Larkivite has some similar properties but does not quite fit, despite #
