Sunday morning finds - ID's please....
« on: May 10, 2009, 11:02:03 AM »
Hello everyone,

Thought you might like to see todays car boot haul ?

We would welcome ID on all the pieces if you are so inclined.  Currently consulting our rapidly expanding books, and feeling quite positive about the large orangey cased vase.  Mike seems to think they are - L to R

1. Scandinavian, Poss TW OR TS

2. First thought  Dartington, as colour and style look right?

3. Cased vase - possibly CHRIBSKA

4. Sklo Union - Designer ?

5. Lighter, poss czech, labelled PIEZO, inscribed on metal KOGEN

Will post individual photos later, but here are the relevant ones for now.......

Thanks Mike & Sharron

Early birds!   ;D
No.1 is a large version of a "Sunflower" night light by Goran Warff for Kosta Boda c.1970s methinks.

Hi, You are much better posting and photographing (against a plain background) your finds individually. Helps to keep the threads cleaner and means ID's pieces can then be filed in the right place. We don't mind how many you post.

I don't think your jug is Dartington, at least not pre 1987 (Frank Thrower era), although I can't see what colour it is. More likely Italian or Polish

Just to that confirm your candle holder is Kosta Boda (or Kosta?), I have a shorter one with a label on, which reads "Handmade Kosta Sweden".

John.
