Old miniature Bottle Glass Basket? help on dating and maker......

Hello everyone,
 I purchased this rather unusual glass basket this weekend antiquing in Roseville Ca. I was wondering if anyone has seen these before? Looks to be mold blown. Sharp broken pontil. Quite a bit of base wear. Lots of small bubbles. Dark amber in color. I was wondering if this was bottle glass. Any Ideas?
