Hi all,

Picked up a labelled jug yesterday.  Have browsed this site for info on C Jones distributors......??

Any ideas as to the designer and year please? Having checked out our books, we are leaning towards Orrefors, or are we hopeful?

VERY deep teal, 27.5cms / 11" tall

hi,ive just looked in the book ive got Orrefors Glass by alastair duncan and thiers only 1 jug in it but its nothing like yours,kaz

Jones & Co were prolific importers into the U.K., they also had many items commissioned for the market here from a variety of glassmakers. I think they also imported ceramics too.

Hi.. Jones & Co imported lots of decorative items from Scandinavia.. The jug looks to me to be Aseda or maybe because of the colour Bergdala.
