right im not quite sure how i managed that but i will carry on now lol..
The swans are solid glass and i believe they are opearlescent (like looking into a tub of vaseline) with a lattice type markings down the body. They have white eyes with dark purple pupils and red beaks.
one has a slightly longer neck. from breast to tail 9cms, body width 4.5cms, head height 8cms/10cms. The bases have also got the lattice effect.
Not amazing but reasonable well made

any ideas??
many thanks
michelle

Your swans are very pretty. From the picture, they look like they might be opalino glass -- a translucent opaline glass. They appear to be balloton blown to give the nice pattern. The size and face make me think that they might not be Murano. The standard Murano animals usually don't have cute faces like your swans have. I can tell that they are good swans, though. The faces remind me of some of the Pirelli animals I have seen, but I don't know enough about the company to recognize their pieces. Another country that makes good animals with cute faces is Thailand. (But let me stop speculating about what your swans might be!)
